Section 2: Employment & Compliance

• License Maintenance: Continuous monitoring of HGV/Van licenses and driving records.
• Reporting: Standardized procedures for logging hours and reporting for duty.

Section 3: The 2-Man Delivery Protocol

• Site Assessment: Teams must check hallways and stairs before any lift.
• White-Glove Standard: Items must be placed in the "Room of Choice" exactly as requested without damage.

Section 4: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Manual Handling: Use of dollies, straps, and synchronized team-lifting is mandatory.
• PPE: Mandatory steel-toe boots and high-vis vests.
• Vehicle Checks: Daily walk-around inspections are required by the DVSA to avoid heavy fines.

2-Man Delivery Checklist

• Pre-Entry: Path cleared, floor protection/shoe covers ready, and measurements confirmed.
• The Move: Manual handling equipment used; no contact with walls or railings.
• Inspection: Unpack carefully, check for transit damage, and test functionality.
• Exit & Admin: All waste removed, photo evidence taken of the item in position, and POD signed.

Daily Vehicle Inspection Log

• External Walk-Around: Tires, lights, indicators, mirrors, bodywork, and load security.
• Under the Hood: Check oil, coolant, screenwash, and look for ground leaks.
• Internal Safety: Dashboard warning lights, brake tests, wipers, and safety kit presence.
• Defect Report: Clear section for Safe to Drive or Grounded status with manager signature.
